on saturday we had a seminary council social. i seriously love these kids. it was way fun. it's really great being around people who want exactly what you want and have the same standards. not that i usually have problems with that in my own great group of friends...

one of my friends from seminary council asked me to homecoming also and i had to tell him no. i felt very bad. :(

Saturday morning i woke up to a blow-horn in my ear and silly string all over my bed! i got a fun sign that said:

yay for my birthday and yay for being 18! for m birthday i bought a new camera,and had a little party. pictures of the party to come. this is enough for now!

too much fun with my chemistry buddies.

last year, i took chemistry. i didn't love the subject, but i did love three girls that became some of my good friends. one was a friend i already was close to, one was a buddy from the past, and one was a girl we befriended and i am SO glad we did! so on saturday night i hung out with these great girls and we had WAY too much fun. i'll let the pictures speak for themselves:

for my first photo 1 assignment, i was assigned to take a picture of a sunflower. these are a few that i took: which one do you like best?

i decided to invite a new addition to the chamber choir at my school. his name is john rutter and he will be living in the chamber chamber. if any of you know who john rutter actually is, i will hold you in the highest esteem for the rest of my life.

my blog is very lame lately. i have not been doing anything exciting. the last two weeks of summer, i worked full-time at wavetronix down in shipping, did a ton of stuff for seminary council and dreaded going back to school. the only fun thing i did with my friends was a shaving cream slip n' slide.

it turned more into a shaving cream styling party. shaving cream will make your hair do whatever you want it too. it's sweet.

and now i am back at school and wishing that i wasn't. oh well, i guess the best way to get my senior year over with is to get it started.

this and that...

i wanted to wait to post when i'd gotten some pictures from my friend, but it's taking too long.
what i've been doing lately:
went camping with my family (again). this was a very fun trip. i had a few friends who came with their families and my friend whitney also came with us. we had a good time. it was very cold at night so the second night we zipped two sleeping bags together and three of us slept in there. much better!
i came home early from camping on monday so i could go to my seminary council meeting. it was SO COOL! i am so glad i didn't miss it. this one was very spiritual and very directed by the spirit and we had alot of great discussion. it was fabulous.
tuesday i had the great opportunity to give part of the lesson in summer seminary. the seminary teachers were all at a meeting so they asked a few of the seminary council memebers to teach. it was a really cool experience and i'm very glad i got to do it, even though it was SCARY teaching in front of 200 kids.
the last few days i have been with the seminary council a lot because we have been filming a movie to show at the beginning of the year. it's been really really fun and productive. i really like hanging out with these kids. we are doing more filming today actually!
also on tuesday i did some shopping with my friend whitney. we had a party. i bought some good stuff for school and got some good deals. i love shopping with whitney because she keeps my spending under control (for the most part). thanks whit!
last night was our ward swim party. i went to the dinner part and enjoyed visiting with some people in my ward. i left when everyone went into the pool and went to my friend cami's birthday party. it was very fun.
wow this post would be so much more interesting if i had pictures to go along with it all! so sorry.
i'm dreading the start of school in two weeks, but at the same time i want to just get it started so i can get it finished. i'm ready to graduate.
