I thought that when I graduated from high school the drama would miraculously stop. What a sick joke.

on being a graduate

i am now the owner of a laptop.

i am now a high school graduate.

i stayed up all night long eating costa vida, frazils, listening to storytime, watching hula dancers, wrestling, dancing, and having man talk at a park. because now i fluctuate between a man and a gorgeous woman.

i came home at 6 am and slept until noon. it's 4:18 and i have only left my bed twice. i've watched the office, and friends all day long. i don't even have a bra on.

it would probably be a good idea to get out of my bed sometime.

but for now i am still recovering from graduating.

some thoughts...

About my senior year: I've loved it. It's gone by so fast I can hardly believe it's over! I've been able to have so much fun and meet SO many new people. I've done the whole "changing friend groups" thing a few times which has been weird, but in the end I've ended up with some amazing friends. I have wonderful memories. I'm also so ready to say goodbye and see where the next phase of life takes me.
About chamber choir and being choir president: I've been in chamber choir for two years now and it's really weird to think that I'm not going to be a part of it anymore. Last year was so fun, but it was nothing compared to this year. We were AMAZING and I became so close to so many members of the choir. Out of everything in high school, this for sure will be the thing I miss the most. Being choir president...I don't know. It's been a good experience but it's been freaking hard too. It's hard to have to take charge when the people you are leading are your peers and all you want to do is goof around with them. But it's given me a lot of really great skills and experience doing what I love to do.
About Seminary Council: I'm really sad that I'm practically done with Seminary Council. It's been a huge part of my life for the last year. It's also given me a lot of chances to be a leader and learn tons of awesome skills, but most importantly, it's shown me the importance of living the way that Heavenly Father wants me to so that I could be a good example. I've spent this entire year trying my hardest (although I know I've failed sometimes) to live in a way that would make Heavenly Father proud so that I could worthily say that I was a part of Seminary Council. I got to meet a TON of really incredible people that I know I would never have talked to without this council. I love it so much.
About moving to Rexburg in 3 months: I can't wait. I love this school, this city and the idea of living on my own. I'm so ready to spread my wings and see where life is going to take me.
About Graduating: I've never been so excited for anything. And at the same time I can't even comprehend it. I don't remember a time when I wasn't in the public school program. This has been my life for 12 years, and now I'm off to find a new life. It's so exciting.

As of later today, I will officially be a high school graduate.

Whitney

This is Whitney, she is my best friend. She and I have been through EVERYTHING together. We became best friends in 7th grade, and have managed to stay close through all of the crap. We always joke that between the two of us, we have lived through almost every hard thing that is possible. We can always help each other because of the things we have been through together. I love this girl so much, she has helped me grow into the person I am. We are living together this fall at BYU-Idaho which is something I am so excited about. I got to take her senior pictures last Thursday and we seriously had the greatest time. I love how they turned out almost as much as I love the girl! Whitney, you are my best friend forever.

MORP 2010

Satuday I went to my last high school dance! A little sad to think about, but not really. I went with my friend Zach and it was really fun. :) It was very chill and just a lot of friends hanging out. For our day date we got a HUGE tarp and covered it in disgusting things like crisco, ketchup, chocolate syrup and dish soap then played games on it. We were so nasty by the end! For dinner we had a BBQ at Whitney's house which was fun and then partied it up at the dance! Huzzah!

This picture gives the epitomy of the day date. Zach is doing all that he can to get me all disgusting, I am completely perturbed by said disgustingness, and Cami (who didn't have a date at this point) is hooking on with every couple. :) Also, please notice the water in the upper left corner. Yeah, that hit me in the face about 1 second later.

I feel like I should explain this picture, but I just can't. Lisa and I love each other enough to share donuts I guess. :) :)

Some of my great girl friends!

P.S. It took me three lathers to get all the Crisco out of my hair!

Rachel

This is Rachel. She is one my very very good friends. I love her dearly. I took her senior pictures last Wednesday and it was the greatest fun I've ever had. I decided this past week after I did these pictures and some more pictures that I want to minor in photography and do this professionally. I just like it so much and I really want to be freaking awesome at it.

senior prom. :)

What can I say other than, it was SO much fun. Carson was a perfect gentleman and he treated me like a princess. The whole date was so great and I looked awesome. :) One cool thing, that brooch and the diamond necklace were my great-grandma's. I really loved that I got to wear things of hers, it made me feel connected to her.
There's not a whole lot more to say. The whole thing was just great and I had an awesome time. :):) The end.
