chamber parties galore!

This weekend was all about chamber choir. on friday we sang at a family christmas party, and then i went to a murder mystery party with mostly chamber people. it was very fun! my character was millie the maid. on saturday we had a chamber christmas party at rachel's house and exchanged christmas socks. fun times with great people!
and i can't wait for the break. one more stressful day of school and rehearsal and then i will be DONE!!

i want to preface this by saying that i hate snow and winter with everything in me. and i'm trying very very hard to have a positive attitude about it because i have pretty much decided on BYU-I and it's much colder out there.
on wednesday, chamber choir went up to temple square and sang at the family history library and at the joseph smith memorial building. it was so much fun! i love chamber, and i love christmas!

a new venture...

as you know, this senior year has been incredibly busy for me what with 3 AP classes, seminary and choir council and just living in general. i decided to add yet another thing to my plate, LES MISERABLES! my school is putting on this amazing show in january, and i decided last minute to audition for it. i found out yesterday that i got placed in the ensemble which i am SO happy about. i don't have a lead, or even a part, so i don't have to learn any lines or sing any solos, i just get to be a part of this great experience with people that i love. i am so excited about this, and i hope that i'll be able to keep my sanity!

mocktail party

this past weekend i had was invited to a birthday party at sparks resteraunt lounge in provo. they served all non-alcoholic drinks. i tried a berry martini which was very yummy and fancy. it was such a fun girls night, we got all dressed up in our nice dresses and heels! very fun party. my best friend whitney and i

riverton game

my schools' football team is doing very well and we started state playoff games last week. i went to the game in riverton with 3 of my friends and had a blast!

a day in the life...

here is what i do every day.
wake up at 6:00 am, shower get ready
breakfast 7:00am.
leave for school about 7:20am.
school, all day. learn crazy things in AP calculus, AP music, AP english, get assigned a crap load of homework. go to meetings at lunch.
after school, usually straight to work for an hour.
come home, work on homework for at least 2-3 hours.
try to run for 30 min.
eat, more homework.
sleep.
and then it starts over the next day.

yesterday was the sadie hawkins dance. i took my friend brock from seminary council. it was a really fun dance! we went to noah's for our day date and played games, then we got all dressed up in our 80's and had dutch oven lasagna for dinner, then went to the dance. we had a really big group. i think there were 10 or 12 couples. somewhere around there. we had a really good time! i wish i'd gotten a group picture at some point, oh well, there will be the one i paid for later on i guess.

what to do when there's no school...

on sunday night after conference ended, i headed up to my friend lisa's cabin in timberlakes with 8 of my girlfriends. we had a great time chilling in the hottub, playing games, eating yummy food and talking until late into the night. i'm so glad for this chance to reconnect with some of my friends.

chamber retreat

we had a really fun chamber retreat this year. because it was conference weekend, we decided not to go anywhere overnight. so we rehearsed, went to the space center, ate dinner, rehearsed some more, played some unifying games on the football field and watched a movie after sightreading some CHRISTMAS songs. oh how i LOVE christmas choral music!
on thursday we went to see into the woods at the scera where one of our members was a star! marissa did a great job as little red riding hood. it was a fun way to kick off our retreat and start to become a unified group of people.

i have gotten complaints from my old YW leader and friend about her not seeing me in my dress for homecoming. so, here are the only two pictures that my mom took when trent picked me up. he got there 45 min late, we had people waiting for us and then my mom's camera batteries died. therefore, these are all that were taken. good enough for me!

homecoming was seriously the most fun dance EVER! trent is a really great kid (even though he picked me up late. i won't hold that against him. it wasn't his fault), and we had a blast at the dance. total party.

last weekend we had a family reunion up at the heber valley camp. i pulled out my camera saturda morning and took some fun pictures of the leaves. let it be known that i stronly dislike fall, but i actually am really loving the changing leaves!

homecoming week

this has been a full, busy week. it was homecoming week! the pictures below are of: special lunch wednesdays, where we do something different for lunch. this week it was chips and dip. then the homecoming pagent, i had some friends participate. then the homecoming football game which was too much fun to be allowed! and we creamed west jordan. after that is my trip to the zoo for our homecoming day date. a fun week, and more fun weekend!
