good for me.

The last few days have been incredibly stressful. I've been working so hard on this blasted research paper for English! I tallied up the hours i've spent typing it up, not even including all of the hours of research, and it took me 10 hours to finish. And technically I'm not done editing. Just done enough not to feel like I'm going to panic. Last night I worked on it for almost 3 hours, and got 5 pages done. Then I accidently deleted the last two pages. GRRR. It was so bad. But, thankfully, I was able to work really hard today and now it is done!
Another good thing happened today when I ran 3 miles on the treadmill at the rec center. It was a REALLY good run. I've never had that good of a run on the treadmill. I know that 3 miles is practically nothing, but it's more than I've run in months so, kudos to me!
Now I plan on enjoying the rest of my weekend.

so much

I have a 10 page research paper about Debussy due on Monday.
And then on Tuesday I have a calculus test.
And I took an AP music test yesterday.
And on Friday I have a Wuthering Heights project due.
It doesn't seem like that much I guess. But trust me. It is.

running relates to life in so many ways...

I'm running the Utah Valley Half Marathon in June and I'm very excited about it. I just started training this week, so it's been slow and hard but it feels good to be doing something again. I bought a pass to the rec. center and i've already seen Aunt Frances there. :) I ran up the "temple hill" this morning which is a hill that most people avoid. I used to do it all the time when I was in shape. It was really hard today, but very very worth it. When I run I think about so many ways that it applies to life. It's kind of crazy. For one example, the hills that may or may not come up during a run are like the trials in life. There are some hills that you can avoid by taking a different route, but some you can't escape from. And when you get to those points in your run, you can either choose to stop trying, turn around, or walk, or you can push harder and get over the hill.

Just some things I think about.

i know. i fail.

i know it's been an eternity since i've posted. for the last month and a half or so my schedule has been as follows:
get up, go to school, do homework during lunch. after school rehearsal. get home at 7 finish up any homework, go to bed.
and the week of the show was even more crazy. i got to go home after school, and i would do homework, or sleep then go back to school at 5:30, the show would start at 7 and i wouldn't get home until at least 10 then i'd go to sleep.
it was really really hard to live on so little sleep because i am not used to it at all. but the whole experience was just incredible. i can't believe i have never been in a play! it's the best experience anyone could ever have! i got to meet some of the neatest people and become close friends with them. it was just so much fun and so uniting and awesome! and to be in les miserables was amazing. it's a wonderful show.
here are a few pictures that people posted on facebook and the two onstage are ones my mom took. enjoy!

one very important truth i learned from this play is summed up in the epilouge:
"To love another person is to see the face of God."

temple square

i want to preface this by saying that i hate snow and winter with everything in me. and i'm trying very very hard to have a positive attitude about it because i have pretty much decided on BYU-I and it's much colder out there.
on wednesday, chamber choir went up to temple square and sang at the family history library and at the joseph smith memorial building. it was so much fun! i love chamber, and i love christmas!
